For nurses

Your qualification is worth more than you are being offered

If you are a nurse, nursing assistant or midwife and Germany appeals to you, here is exactly what lies ahead — timelines included.

We guide African healthcare professionals into posts in Germany: qualification recognition, German training to B2 level, introduction to an employer, visa, housing, and six months of support after arrival.

The journey is long. Twelve to twenty-four months depending on your starting level of German. We say so in the first line, because anyone promising you faster is not telling the truth.

The candidate never pays a cent.

You pay us nothing, at any stage. No application fee, no deposit, no percentage of your future salary. We are paid by the German healthcare institution that hires you. If anyone claiming to work with Eurofrika asks you for money, write to us immediately.

Profiles

Who we work with

The qualification matters, but it is not enough. What we look for first is a person whose plan holds together.

State-registered nurse

The most sought-after profile. A state-recognised qualification in your country, whatever your years of experience.

Nursing assistant

Possible, with a different recognition path and sometimes additional training in Germany.

Midwife

Assessed case by case: recognition of this profession varies significantly between German states.

Student close to qualifying

Contact us a year before you graduate — that is the ideal moment to start German.

The journey

What lies ahead, step by step

Nothing is hidden, nothing is artificially accelerated. Each step has its real duration.

1

Selection

An in-depth conversation about your background, your motivation and your plans. We only present people we would accompany ourselves.

Auswahl
2

Qualification recognition

We build and file your application with the competent authority of the German state. Certified translations, follow-up requests, preparation for any adaptation measure.

Anerkennung
3

German A1 to B2

Live online classes in small groups, up to the B2 level required to practise. We prepare you for the telc examination and take you to the accredited examination centre — which alone issues the certificate.

4

Meeting your employer

We present your file to institutions that match your profile, and prepare you for the interview: expected questions, German workplace culture, negotiation.

Vorstellungsgespräch
5

Pre-approval

Your employer obtains approval from the Federal Employment Agency before you apply for the visa. This removes most blockages and shortens the process considerably.

Vorabzustimmung
6

Visa

Complete consular file, appointment booking, preparation for the embassy interview. We follow up and document every step until it comes through.

Visumverfahren
7

Arrival and settling in

We meet you at the airport. Housing, city registration, bank account, health insurance, residence permit, SIM card: your first week is organised in advance.

Ankunft
8

Integration

One month of intensive medical German on arrival, then regular check-ins for six months. Someone who speaks your language, reachable when something goes wrong.

Integration

Plainly

What we cannot promise you

We cannot guarantee recognition of your qualification: the decision belongs to the state authority, and it is often partial, combined with a placement or a knowledge examination. We cannot guarantee your visa: that depends on the consulate. And we cannot shorten the time it takes to learn German.

What we can guarantee: that your file will be properly built, that you will always know where it stands, that nobody will ask you for money, and that someone will be waiting for you at the airport.

  • Your current level of German is not an obstacle: most people start from zero
  • Age is not a disqualifying criterion
  • Bringing your family is possible, with additional conditions and timelines
  • The salary follows the German collective agreement, identical to a German colleague's
  • You choose the region where you want to live, within the posts available
