Data protection
Your data, and what we do with it
We process application data and, at times, copies of identity documents. Here is exactly what is collected, why, and for how long.
Data controller
Eurofrika — business in formation
Nguemegni Ngansop Viagnini
Braunschweiger Straße 12a

Germany
Telephone: +49 1573 3074479 · Email: contact@eurofrika.de
No data protection officer has been appointed: the threshold of twenty people permanently engaged in processing personal data (§38 BDSG) is not reached. Your requests are handled directly by the controller named above.
Two rules before all others
We collect only what we need in order to support you, and we keep it no longer than necessary.
No decision about you is made by a machine. Our tools sort, remind and prepare; they accept no one and reject no one, assign no recruitment score, and make no legal or immigration decision. Every decision is made by a person. This is a matter of principle — and it satisfies Article 22 GDPR.
Visiting the site — server logs
On each visit our host automatically records: shortened IP address, date and time, page requested, volume transferred, browser and operating system. These data serve only to operate and secure the site.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in a functioning, attack-resistant website. Retention: seven days at most, unless a security incident is under investigation.
Contact and application forms
The details you enter — name, email address, telephone number, country, qualification, experience, level of German, message — reach us so that we can answer your enquiry and, if you are a healthcare professional, consider your plan to work in Germany.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual steps taken at your request. For employer enquiries: Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
Your message is stored on our hosting until we collect it, then held in our case system. If nothing further follows, your data are erased no later than six months after our last exchange.
Application file
If your application progresses, we process the documents required for recognition of your qualification, the visa application and your recruitment: civil status, diplomas and transcripts, references, passport, language certificates, criminal record extract and, where required, a medical certificate.
A medical certificate is health data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR. We request it only where the employer or authority requires it, and process it solely with your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
Legal basis for the other documents: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Who receives your data
Only those who need them to move your case forward — and we obtain your agreement before any transfer to an employer:
· the healthcare institution you are applying to;
· the qualification recognition authority of the relevant federal state;
· the German embassy or consulate handling your visa;
· the accredited language examination centre, for your registration;
· our hosting and email providers, bound by a processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR.
Your data are never sold, rented or passed on for advertising.
Transfers outside the European Union
Your application often begins in an African country. Exchanges with you, a partner school or an examination centre outside the Union rely on Article 49(1)(b) GDPR: the transfer is necessary to perform the contract concluded in your interest.
Our servers are located in Germany.
Retention periods
· Enquiry with no follow-up: six months after the last exchange.
· Active application: for the duration of support, then three years.
· Successful placement: ten years, because of German accounting and tax retention obligations (§147 AO, §257 HGB).
· Server logs: seven days.
After that, data are erased or anonymised.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21) at any time. Where processing rests on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting what was done before.
A plain message to contact@eurofrika.de is enough. We reply within one month.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For North Rhine-Westphalia: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no tracking cookies. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no social media button that follows you. No consent banner is needed: there is nothing to consent to.
If you switch the display to dark mode, that preference stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Application documents are stored in an area not reachable from the web. Our internal case tool encrypts files on the working device: without the passphrase they are unreadable, including to anyone who obtains a copy of the file.
No personal password or login code belonging to a candidate is stored in our systems. We will never ask you for one.
A warning
Eurofrika never asks a candidate for money, on any pretext. If someone requests a payment in our name, it is not us. Tell us immediately at contact@eurofrika.de.
